Given the rapidly developing events in Gaza, the inevitable widening of Israeli atrocities and war crimes through constant and deliberate bombings of civilians, including women and children, the elderly, hospitals, mosques, churches, the complete and utter deprivation of rights of the Palestinians, the bulldozing of apartment buildings, the summary arrests and detentions of thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians, and the other numerous unspeakable acts that the so-called world community would never tolerate, it became necessary to update this article.

The United Nations General Assembly on Friday adopted a resolution calling for an “immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce” between Israeli forces and Hamas militants in Gaza. It also demands “continuous, sufficient and unhindered” provision of lifesaving supplies and services for civilians trapped inside the enclave, as news reports suggest Israel has expanded ground operations and intensified its bombing campaign.

For his actions in this Israeli war on Palestinian civilians, Joe Biden needs to go, even if it means returning the twice-impeached, 91 felony-indicted credibly court-declared rapist and fraud Republican front-runner.
Biden should apologize to the American public for his support of this level of cruelty against any group of people. That includes the Palestinians. It was easy to be wrong about Biden. Perhaps his demeanor and words have been hypocritical all along. At this point, he appears to be more extreme and “worse” than the MAGA cult. Or perhaps it is the specter of the former pew-resident DONAL TRUMP, Mr. insurrectionist and authoritarian-wanna-be returning to the White House, that scared everyone into thinking Biden was acceptable. However, Biden’s response to what has been taking place in the Middle East has disqualified him for re-election as president. This writer has supported every Democratic candidate in every election and has worked to elect Democrats for the past 40 years. Biden’s actions in the past 2 weeks have ended this support. This includes the dependable support of this writer’s entire family, which this writer has had to secure from her millennial children and baby-boomer spouse.

Two days ago, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, the United Nations Security Council voted on a resolution drafted by the Brazilians and backed by Russia regarding the disaster unfolding in the Middle East. The resolution called for what the parties refer to as “humanitarian pauses” in the armed conflict. That would allow for basic human necessities that are required to sustain human life, such as food, water, fuel/ energy, electricity, and medications, to be delivered to the Gaza Strip, where the destruction is the most acute and Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered all deliveries of human sustenances suspended. Of the 13-member security council, 12 voted in favor of facilitating the delivery of essential and life-sustaining aid to the Palestinians, while the United States alone vetoed the measure. The American Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a Black woman who should understand the nature of oppression, raised her hand alone to object to the passage of the resolution.
Today, President Sisi of Egypt held a summit with a group of leaders from Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East to discuss specific steps that need to be taken immediately to stop the slaughter of Palestinians by Israel. He was clear:
He wants a joint statement demanding de-escalation of the Israeli war on Gaza;
He rejects Israel’s brazen plan to empty Gaza and steal the remainder of the Palestinian land;
He wants increased and continuous delivery of food and medications, water, and fuel shipments to halt starvation, diseases, and the thousands of deaths that are being exacted on the Palestinians as a people.
However, the former slave merchants and colonial powers (France, Spain, and England), joined by a former Natzi regime (Germany), and current Western right-wing governments, such as Italy and others, that make up the European Union (EU) came gunned up to make sure that Israel can continue to kill more Palestinians at will. It is hard to believe that a former military general who took over the presidency of Egypt when the people rose against the corrupt dictatorial regime of former president Muhammad Hosni El Sayed Mubarak, who held power in Egypt from 1981 to 2011, could show more concerns for human rights and a greater sense of justice and fairness than the “exceptional” country in words only.
The other significant developments in this story since yesterday, when this article was first published, are the large protests by millions of people in Germany, Spain, London, France, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Australia, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, and South Africa. Smaller protests have been held in the U.S. Those protests need to grow larger, and black Americans who should understand oppression and elimination by state killing must join these protests. It is also time for businesses and corporations to suspend trading and investment in Israel or face boycotts by the people of the world.
Anyone who does not take some form of action to demand an end to Israel’s blood-thirsty killing of Palestinians in their own homeland needs to have a checkup of their conscience or whatever figment of it they might have left and should not step foot into a house of worship for fear of being instantly struck down by the laws of nature. This includes Joe Biden.
WHAT DO WE WANT AND WHEN DO WE WANT IT?
We want an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
We want all basic necessities: food, medications, fuel/ energy, and water delivery to be restored to the Palestinians. We do not care who does it. Biden can make up for his inequities by personally arranging for those deliveries to the people of Palestine.
We want the World Health Organization (WHO) to be on the ground to monitor the possible spread of diseases, due to the lack of clean water and adequate medical care to the Palestinians, after multiple hospitals and shelters have been bombed by the Israeli army for revenge and for pure evil aims.
We want the United Nations (UN) and the Red Cross (Also known as the Red Crescent) to be active on the ground in Gaza to provide monitoring and mediation, to make sure that much needed supplies reach the Palestinian population, and to help with the improvement of the provision of health care to the injured, including blood collection and distribution.
We want a return to the peace process and genuinly robust and earnest negotiations that can lead to a peaceful solution between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
All oppressed people and people of good faith, including the Israeli population, should be outraged and should mobilize to take actions to stop Israel’s genocidal vengeance. (This writer did not coin this term but borrowed it from a foreign anchor because it fits the bill).
WE BELIEVE THAT NO ONE SHOULD BE KIDNAPPED AND HELD HOSTAGE, AND THAT IS ALWAYS A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE FOR ANYONE TO GO THROUGH. WE SINCERELY FEEL FOR THE ISRAELIS AND OTHER NATIONALITIES WHO LOVED ONES IN HAMAS FIGHTERS ' HANDS FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS. HOWEVER, WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT HAMAS WILL RELEASE ALL OF THE HOSTAGES UNHARMED ONCE SOME REASONABLE NEGOTIATIONS CAN BE HAD OUTSIDE ISRAEL’S DECLARED ANGER AND RAGE AND NEED FOR BLOODLETTING.
A World Left in the Hands of Thugs
Americans can learn a great deal from watching this rolling human disaster. It can be argued that the United Nations still has an essential and critical role in keeping this world of ours from completely sinking to the bottom of the ocean. However, there is little that can be accomplished in the names of peace, justice, and prosperity for all when your primary decision-makers - the five permanent members of the Council are composed of thugs: China (a dictatorial and authoritarian regime with “re-education camps), France (a former colonial power who is planning to travel to Israel to kiss the ring of the corrupt murderer, Benjamin Netanyahu), the Russian Federation that invades its neighbors and presides over the murders and rape of the civilian population, the United Kingdom whose prime minister traveled to Israel to make sure that he is counted in the complicity of the murder of Palestinians and the destruction of their homeland, and the United States (The ultimate authority on the ever-elusive weapons of mass destruction in Iraq).
Biden Should Be Ashamed of Himself for Sending More Weapons to Israel to Help With the Killings of Palestinian Civilians.
It has been hard to watch the president of the United States traveling to Israel to declare his goal to deliver more lethal weapons to Israel, a country with a nuclear arsenal, to help them fight against teenagers throwing rocks, militants whose air force consists of fighters landing into enemy territories on gliders backed up by a navy made up of fisherman boats, and ground combat troops breaching concrete walls on bicycles, on foot, and riding motorcycles.

The attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, was astonishing but not surprising. These countries and the entire Middle East have been at war since 1948. The Palestinians would be applauded for defending their territories in any normal world. But we are not living in an ordinary world. This is the new world where people are forced to take 16 sides of every story, and facts can be manipulated to mean anything. It is a world in which no one can hold strong convictions if those views contradict the going price of elected offices and new trends. In this cowardly new world, slaves who revolt to fight for their freedom using anything at their disposal would have been called terrorists. Politicians select by designation who is a terrorist and a freedom fighter.

It is difficult to comprehend why Biden went off the rails and trashed all semblance of neutrality in this Israeli and Palestinian conflict. By all appearances, the United States government under Joe Biden is ready for war. The USS Bataan, the USS Mesa Verde, and the USS Carter Hall are moving closer to Israel. The USS Mesa Verde had been in the Mediterranean and began to move eastward. The USS Bataan and USS Carter Hall had disembarked Marines to participate in the Kuwait 3.0 bilateral military exercise 2 days ago. The United States is ready for war.
War is an awful thing, no matter who is doing the fighting. And one cannot help but feel for every one of the Israelis who died or got injured in this battle. Watching the family members of the people who have been taken and still held hostage by Hamas is also very touching. The problem is whether war is a good or bad thing for humans to experience has been made wholly dependent upon who has the biggest guns and the most lethal weapons. A country with a vast army and an extensive arsenal of weapons, tanks, and nuclear warheads to go with its missiles refers to the civilian deaths they cause as “collateral damage.” At the same time, David, fighting with a sling and traveling by mule, is a terrorist. This is the Era of Goliath.
What happened in Israel on October 7, 2023, was Nathenyahu’s own doing. This corrupt right-winger was so busy trying to dismantle the judiciary in his own country to keep himself in power and out of prison that he took his eyes off the prize. In doing so, he placed his own interest above the country’s and the national security of his entire nation at risk. Not only did Netanyahu evict the Palestinians from the Temple of Jerusalem, which was a shared worship area, and not only did he give free rein to extremist Israelis to steal Palestinian land and push the population further into the sea, but he then tried to do a roundabout with the murderous prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to shut the Palestinian out of any negotiations. He tried to do the same thing with Jordan and Egypt, whose leaders should be ashamed of themselves.
The Israeli public also bears some blame for not taking any action to prevent any of the drastic measures Netanyahu and his right-wing government took in the past decade to undo all of the progress that former leaders, diplomats, and heads of state, such as President Jimmy Carter, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin worked on to bring about some measure of peace to the region in what is known as the 1978 Camp David Accords. Nothing happened after that to elevate peace in the Middle East. Reagan was a pro-Arpatheid Republican President who used to refer to Nelson Mandela as a terrorist during his 8-year in the White House between 1981 and 1989. It was not until 1998 that U.S. President Bill Clinton returned to the drawing board and tried to advance peace in the region by bringing together the Israelis. The Palestinians were represented then by the former Palestinian President and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Yasser Arafat, along with the Jordanians and the Syrians to pursue the peace process. It was the last time a United States president showed interest in bringing peace to the Middle East. Instead, the American government, under both Democrats and Republicans alike, has been trying to start a war with Iran. They have successfully propagandized Americans that Iran is evil and should be destroyed. What they have neglected to tell a population short on history is that it was Iranian students who seized the U.S. Embassy on November 4, 1979, and kidnapped and detained 50 American diplomats, including Chargé d’Affaires and junior staff members, and held them hostage for 444 days. This is known in the greater world outside of the United States as the Iranian Revolution, and it was carried out to get rid of the puppet government of the corrupt Shah of Iran, whom young Iranians viewed as a creation of the United States. Ruhollah Khomeini returned to Iran on 1 February 1979 after 14 years in exile for those interested in facts when Hollywood fiction will not do.

Finally, the American news media, MSNBC and CNN, were the most disappointing. The Primetime Lineup, from Nicole Wallace, beginning at 4:00 PM, to Joy Reid, Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, Alex Wagner, and Lawrence O’Donnell, all have given up on reporting the facts in this conflict in favor of pandering. The foreign journalists continue trying to do their jobs under difficult circumstances. However, it is Mika Emilie Leonia Brzezinski who took the cake. Mika’s father, Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzeziński, was a world-known and well-respected diplomat who participated in the peace effort as National Security Advisor for President Carter between 1977 and 1981. Before that, he was a counselor for President Lyndon B. Johnson from 1966 to 1968. Today, Mika finds herself with her nose stuck between Nathenyahu’s legs with the other cowardly figures who are too afraid of being called anti-Semitic if they dare speak the truth about Netanyahu’s murderous impulses and genocidal malfeasance in the Gaza Strip. They do not call it the Gaza Strip for no reason. Here it is:
The American news media makes Aljazeera look like the professional and independent-minded news organization it is. Anyone searching for news independent of Netanyahu’s influence and propaganda is encouraged to check out Aljazeera. This is the same Netanyahu who used a fake nuclear bomb design to coerce the Bush administration into going to war with Iran.

For the record, Hamas is not ISIS. And the Israelis’ lies that Hamas fighters raped Israeli women and beheaded children are undoubtedly unmitigated lies. These statements are as true as Netanyahu’s nuclear bomb statement and fake graphics in front of the UN General Assembly 2012. The real terrorists are in uniforms and rolling over human beings in armor tanks. The most outrageous lie of all told by Netanyahu may be about who fired the rocket into the hospital and killed nearly 500 people. It was Israel and not Hamas. We all know who the real terrorists are. We can believe propaganda or our lying eyes and cower to the head of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Jonathan Greenblatt, who has been making the TV rounds to preach that anyone criticizing Israel’s action is anti-Semitic. This is more than dishonest. It is unethical and immoral.
